Studiomakeup, a division of Prestige Cosmetics, was a small brand with a big story to tell. But with limited advertising dollars, narrow distribution and diluted, messaging, no one was hearing it. Our challenge was to find this brand’s voice, and then make it heard – beautifully.
Our first step was to analyze the competitive and industry landscape to build an ownable brand platform. Our goal was to articulate what was special about Studiomakeup – “telling the story of you.” We then created a compelling, campaign-able tagline and signature visual – must-haves in the image-driven cosmetics space. Next, we developed a unique POS POV, using the in-store experience as a hub for consumer communication and brand interaction. Finally, we produced print and online advertisements that brought the campaign to life.
