Zwilling

The Solingen, Germany-based company—founded in 1731—is renowned for an international portfolio of brands, from bestselling scissors, Henckels steel chef knives and aluminum pans, to Staub cast-iron enamel cookware from France. Zwilling J.A. Henckels enlisted Medallion Retail to translate their vision and ethos—centuries of knowledge and masterful craftsmanship combined with innovative precision technology—to the American consumer. We paired transcreation with our in-store experience to create tactile displays that make Zwilling stand apart from the competitors.

In-Store Signage

Utilizing existing client brand assets, Medallion Retail designed elegant in-store signage for the Chef’s Choose Staub influencer program that highlights an excellent price point, features and benefits, while still portraying the product as luxury cookware.

Medallion Retail Assists in a String of “Firsts”

The Fresh and Save display is a first for Zwilling in retailer Crate & Barrel, representing Zwilling’s first foray into the food preservation market, and advertising the first offering of a proprietary app that helps users track how long food has been stored. Medallion’s display shipped with glass containers secured in place so that the retailer only had to unbox the unit and install the battery for the video component. The tethered vacuum pump allows customers to test and seal the containers.

Versatile Display Invites Customer Engagement

Medallion Retail’s design for the Henckels Capri Granitium line of non-stick cookware uses a small Costco shelf footprint effectively by layering and standing the cookware on end. The handles of the angled pans are perfectly angled for the shopper to grasp, take out from the display, and neatly return. Bright orange draws attention to the pans in the darkened warehouse shelving. The detail card, which can be changed out, clearly communicates product features.

Medallion Retail Shows How the Magic Happens

Medallion Retail designed a semi-permanent display that highlights Zwilling’s innovative self-sharpening technology. As customer experience is always a core design consideration, our display features an angled front panel that communicates a wealth of product details in an easily read, minimalist format. The angled front panel also brings attention to a product sample, while holding it securely in place.
